Field Technical Support and ROV Operations
We've provided ROV Operations and Engineering Support to the subsea industry, most notably the offshore Oil & Gas industry in the US Gulf of Mexico and Norwegian North Sea. Other sectors where we have had experience include Science, Salvage, Survey and Telecommunications. Deep water operations have been a main focus in the US Gulf of Mexico: over 2214 metres [7265 feet] water depth in the oil sector (Sonsub at Canyon Express), and over 3000 metre [+9800 feet] water depth in the science and salvage sectors.
Offshore Oil & Gas
Our ROV Operations and Engineering support experience in the oil & gas sector has included survey, IMR, drilling and production support, pipeline installation, construction, EPRD/decommissioning, and various inspection and intervention projects. Experience in this sector includes:

DOF SUBSEA; Bergen, NorwaySupervised ROV Operations to satisfy Statiol frame contract in Norwegian sector of North Sea, operating UHD ROV systems from ROVSV Geosund. ROV construction and survey projects included Ormen Lange pipeline (LBL, counteract installation, pipelay, & post-lay inspection), and numerous susbea installation & construction projects including Kvitebjørn pipeline damage assessment.

Telecommunications
Telecommunications cable repair and burial subsea systems are complex subsea vehicles, exceeding the horsepower and capabilities of ROVs in all other markets. High and low pressure jetting systems, trenching systems and sophisticated cable tracking systems are only a few features which make these vehicles unique.
